Our Story
Tyson Creative Press was founded by Samantha and Matthew Tyson as an independent publishing house built around creativity, healing, and honest conversation.
What began with one deeply personal idea has grown into a vision for a collection of books and resources that help people reflect, reconnect, and rewrite the stories they’ve carried for far too long.
As our catalog grows, our mission remains the same: to create thoughtful, beautiful work that reminds people they are never beyond hope — and that healing often begins with telling ourselves the truth.

Creator & Author, The Book of Lies Series
Samantha C. Tyson is the creator of The Book of Lies series and co-founder of Tyson Creative Press. What began as a simple exercise in identifying the things we tell ourselves that aren't true became an invitation to slow down, confront those lies, and intentionally replace them with truth.
A writer, entrepreneur, and creative with a professional background spanning communications, finance, operations, and leadership, Samantha has spent much of her career finding ways to turn ideas into experiences that connect with people. Her path to publishing wasn't a traditional one. It was shaped by motherhood, entrepreneurship, professional growth, personal reflection, and a willingness to build the things she wished already existed.
Through Tyson Creative Press, Samantha creates books and experiences designed to make people pause, reflect, and see themselves a little differently. She believes some of the most powerful conversations begin with a simple question, and sometimes the first step toward a different story is recognizing the one you've been telling yourself.
Matthew Tyson

Contributing Author, The Book of Lies: Men’s Edition
Matthew Tyson is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, automotive and diesel professional, husband, father, and co-founder of Tyson Creative Press. After serving as a Corporal in the Marine Corps, he built a career in transportation and fleet maintenance, bringing more than a decade of hands-on mechanical experience to an industry where resilience, discipline, and showing up are often simply expected.
His path has also given him firsthand perspective on many of the expectations men carry: to provide, to be strong, to handle what needs to be handled, and to keep moving even when life gets heavy. As a contributing author to The Book of Lies: Men's Edition, Matthew brings that lived perspective to the conversations within these pages, helping ensure they reflect not only what men are told, but what many men actually experience and rarely say out loud.
